Xinjihao Tea is a brand under the 8th Horse Tea Co. Ltd. that specializes in pu’er tea. Its full name is Xinjihao Year-dated Pu’er Tea. The “Good Luck Always” pu’er tea gift iron box is a new product launched by 8th Horse Tea Co. Ltd. in 2024, symbolizing “good luck is always by your side and will never stop.”
From the name’s connotation, we sought out spiritual and iconic elements that fit the theme of good luck, and adopted a Chinese circular pattern design to combine the symbolic elements with the unique cultural features of Yunnan. We used illustrations to visually express the elements. The square iron box corresponds to the circular pattern, reflecting the ancient Chinese philosophy of “the heavens are round and the earth is square.” The overall graphic is symmetrically arranged in a clockwise manner, symbolizing endless vitality and good luck.
